Made-In-Nigeria Exhibition 2026 Set To Showcase National Enterprise

Nigeria is preparing to host a major showcase of its domestic industries with the launch of the Made-in-Nigeria Exhibition 2026.

The event, scheduled to take place twice yearly in both Abuja and Lagos, aims to move beyond a simple trade show and fundamentally reshape perceptions of Nigerian products.

Organisers are positioning the exhibition as a confident statement of the nation’s manufacturing and creative capabilities.

Entrepreneurs, manufacturers, and industry leaders will gather to present a diverse range of locally produced goods, spanning everything from high-end leatherwork and fashion to beauty products, agricultural solutions and artisanal crafts.

A key focus of the exhibition is supporting emerging brands, many of whom struggle with limited visibility. Organisers are offering complimentary booth spaces to selected small businesses, providing a platform for underrepresented talent to gain exposure and attract investment.

“This exhibition is about shifting mindsets,” explained Bola Awosika, the initiative’s driving force. “Nigerian products aren’t simply alternatives – they are competitive, innovative, and globally relevant. We’re creating a space where local brands can be experienced, trusted, and elevated.”

Dates and Locations:
Abuja: 27th-28th June & 12th-13th December 2026
Lagos: 25th-26th July & 19th-20th December 2026

The event is expected to draw a broad audience including potential buyers, investors, media, and consumers eager to engage with Nigerian-made products. Organisers are promising an immersive experience, featuring live demonstrations, product storytelling, and networking opportunities, moving away from a traditional ‘aisle-walking’ format.

The exhibition also carries a strong message of economic patriotism, encouraging Nigerians to support domestic production and bolstering confidence in local capabilities.

Booth rates are set at ₦150,000 and ₦200,000, designed to be accessible to businesses of all sizes. Awosika is also actively seeking corporate sponsors and partners to support the event, highlighting its potential for significant economic impact.

“This isn’t just a cost – it’s an investment in visibility, credibility, and growth,” she stated. “We encourage businesses across Nigeria to take advantage of this platform.”

The exhibition currently has the backing of institutions including the Bank of Industry, Lagos State Internal Revenue Service, and Sahcol.
