Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, a member of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has taken to his official Facebook page to celebrate the birthday of the party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
In a post published today, Senator Dickson praised Mr Obi’s dedication to good governance, accountability, national unity and service to the country, describing him as a leader whose patriotism, humility and steadfast belief in a better Nigeria continue to inspire hope among millions.
“On this special occasion, I salute his commitment to the ideals of good governance, accountability, national unity, and service to our country. His patriotism, humility, discipline, and steadfast belief in a better Nigeria continue to inspire hope among countless Nigerians,” the senator wrote.
Senator Dickson also offered prayers for Mr Obi’s continued health, wisdom and strength, and expressed the hope that divine guidance would accompany him as he carries forward the aspirations of the party and the nation.
“On behalf of my family and associates, I wish him a happy birthday and God’s abundant blessings in the years ahead,” he added, signing off with “Happy Birthday, Your Excellency.”
The Nigeria Democratic Congress is the political platform under which Mr Obi is contesting the presidency. His birthday has drawn warm messages from supporters and party members across the country.
