ADC Chieftain Tags Tinubu’s Administration ‘Nigeria’s Costliest Mistake’ Ahead Of 2027 Election

PortHarcourt — Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, a prominent chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and long-standing political ally, has launched a blistering attack on President Bola Tinubu, branding his tenure as the worst and most expensive misstep in Nigeria’s democratic history.

In a strongly worded press statement issued on Wednesday, Chief Eze asserted that the Tinubu administration belongs squarely in the “trash bin of underperforming and hyper-clueless presidencies.”

He argued that allowing the President to take office following the disputed 2023 elections was a profound error from which the nation is still struggling to recover.

The ADC chieftain echoed recent remarks made by former minister and political figure Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, maintaining that any support for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming 2027 general election defies common sense.

Key Criticisms Raised:

  • Economic Hardship and Insecurity: Chief Eze highlighted a barrage of unresolved national crises, including widespread insecurity, banditry, kidnapping, systemic corruption, rising unemployment, and severe economic deprivation.
  • Misplaced Priorities: The statement accused the President of focusing on political re-election and personal ambition rather than delivering purposeful leadership from his first day in office on 29 May 2023.
  • Call to Action: Describing the administration’s trajectory as a “one-chance vehicle,” Eze appealed to the electorate to mobilise en masse and vote out both the President and the ruling party when Nigerians head to the polls in 2027.

Political observers note that this rhetoric signals an escalating political realignment as opposition parties sharpen their messaging ahead of the upcoming electoral cycle.
