Nigerian car dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna, known as IVD, has followed his partner, Blessing CEO, in deactivating his Instagram account.
Kemi Filani reported last week that Blessing had spoken publicly about her battle with cancer. In an Instagram video, she expressed fear and exhaustion.
During an interview on Arise TV, Nigerian doctor Dr Adefunke Arowolo exposed Blessing for fabricating her cancer diagnosis. While presenting a medical report on the show, it was revealed to be the same document a family is currently suing her over.
Dr Arowolo had contacted the doctor whose name appeared on the report, who confirmed he had no involvement in the test result.
In a separate interview with Egugun, Blessing stated she would not apologise to the public for receiving donations, revealing she had received N13 million.
Blessing clarified that she had exaggerated her condition based on information provided by the doctor, which proved to be inaccurate.
Following the backlash and criticism, she deactivated her Instagram page.
Now, IVD has also deactivated his Instagram account. Kemi Filani confirmed his account is no longer accessible.
Blessing and IVD first sparked dating rumours in 2023 when Blessing shared a photo of a mystery man with a tattoo of her name on his arm. She expressed both apprehension and excitement, stating she thought her feelings had died in the past.
During an interview with Daddy Freeze in January 2025, Blessing confirmed her relationship with IVD, praising his loving nature and expressing hope for marriage.
In April, the relationship expert announced her engagement to the car dealer, stating she had never felt so at peace and was no longer seeking drama.
